Mike TrenckMichael Trenck has been an emergency service provider for more than fifteen years. Michael presently works as a Firefighter-Paramedic for a career fire department in Connecticut. He holds a Master’s Degree with a concentration in Fire Administration from the University of New Haven and is certified by the Connecticut Commission on Fire Prevention and Control as a Fire Officer II. Karen FaceyKaren A. Facey is a CT Certified Fire Marshal, and works for CT’s largest geographic municipality. Owner of Fire Facts Code Consulting, Karen has her B.S. in Fire Science from the University of New Haven, and M.S. in Administrative Science with concentrations in Emergency Management, and Homeland Security/Terrorism Issues from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Roy GagneRoy Gagne has been a firefighter in Norwalk, CT for 10 years and has been a Lieutenant since July of 2011. He worked as a Paramedic for 14 years and, prior to that, worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. In his 19 years in emergency services Roy has had the opportunity to obtain his Masters Degree in Organizational Communication and Leadership, as well as multiple Fire and EMS certifications. Roy has taught multiple classes in both fields and strives to continue his own education and career advancement, along with passing on information to other emergency service professionals.
CandiceCandice M. Miller studied International Business and IT at Temple University. She has worked in hospital healthcare for the last nine years and is a recent graduate of Connecticut’s Naugatuck Valley Radiology Technology Program. A Rescue Digest contributor, Candice is also the voice of the Tips and Tricks section of the Rescue Digest Audio Podcast.
